We run an online coaching company called the Book Publishing Academy that helps writers to be vulnerable and share their story. We teach them to write, publish and launch their books.

In less than 2 years we have served over 75 authors and have helped them not only publish their books, but also become #1 Best Selling Authors, and features on CBS, NBC Fox, Telemundo and Univision News.

We believe we have, by far the best coaching program in the Book Publishing industry. This year we are ramping up our sales and marketing team to bring more committed aspiring authors as coaching clients. This is where you come in...

Position Summary

The purpose of this role is enrolling more clients in our Book Publishing Academy.

This will be done through a few different methods: Calling, emailing, texting, and reaching out on social media. Working hours are flexible to accommodate 3 time zones. (Please note this is subject to change based on business needs).

Note: This position is part time and virtual, meaning you can work from anywhere. (Please note as business growth continues it will move into a full time position.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for prospecting and nurturing new customers/ leads while setting appointments as well as closing sales calls.

  • Prospecting: You will be using our CRM to call, text, and email each new lead/customer.

  • Setting appointments: You'll conduct 5-10 min calls to prospective clients to qualify them for our coaching program. If applicable, you'll schedule the for a call with our Director of Coaching. If the prospect wants to talk now, you can conduct the call.

  • Nurturing: You'll be expected to follow up with clients who were considered "no show" as well as follow up with those who said they would "think about it"

  • Selling: Conducting all sales calls with the assistance of our Sales Director

  • Tach savvy, able to pick up things quickly and have a belief that everything is figureoutable.

  • You're actively looking to improve through books, audios, courses etc.

  • You have a passion for helping people.

  • You enjoy autonomy, while still enjoying structure and team communication/meetings.

  • You can hold people accountable to what they say they want.

  • You are hungry and coachable.

Disqualifiers: Please DO NOT apply to this position if...

  • You gave a 9-5 mentality.

  • Have no interest in continuing to train and improve your sales and communication.

  • Cant take criticism and or feedback.

  • Don't enjoy talking to people and starting new conversations daily.

  • Want a position for flexibility and travel freedom only.

30 Day Targets

  • Learn all tech systems and product offerings to be effective in the position and fully go through training materials.

  • Begin taking calls and starting conversations.

60 Day Targets

  • Set calls that close at 30% or higher while following up with booked appointments prior to call to ensure they show up.

  • Start 100+ conversations/day (Through social media, outbound calling, emailing or texting)

  • Set at least 4+ calls per day.

  • Close at least 2 clients per month to start, then it will ramp up from there.

Pay

  • You'll earn a commission on every sale you help produce.
